#29 was DIRECTLY answered with the very first word in #33.

No dodging. Just a straight up “yes.”

And, resty, it is true that we never once discussed mormonism in my MDiv. It simply wasn’t part of the program.

I can’t even say with assurance that the seminary was offering an elective on cults. They might have been, but I don’t remember it if they were.

I do know that I never took one. There was far too much to learn to go off on a tangent.

OK, I’ll take your word for it that you believed Huckabee was really this ignorant. If you have further questions, I suggest you do some homework yourself instead of defending someone else’s ignorance. All that said, you are free to believe whatever you want but the question was what do Mormon’s believe. There are plenty of sources out there to find that out as the NY Times writer found for himself. And finally, I expect we are going to look really foolish over this whole incident when the real issues bite us in the butt in a few years. Time to come together, not pull each other apart over faith.

You really do not need to bone up on LDS, you need to school yourself in ecumenical ism. Christianity has many sects and permutations, they cannot all be right, including your versions. Yet, God loves us all.
