In 2006 he (Timmerman) was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his groundbreaking reporting on Iran ’s nuclear weapons program.

Except for that embarrassing black mark, he has impressive accomplishments.

I would not call it a “secret.” The Dems announced on the date that GW Bush was first elected that they would never let him govern.

President Bush has himself to blame by not brooming all Executive Departments of these Clinton rump-swabs.

...the Democrat party never accepted the legitimacy of the 2000 presidential election, and sought in every possible way to delegitimize George W. Bush.

This has lead the liberals to develop a pathological and seething hate for Bush that permeates their thinking and actions. The current Democratic Congress is the product of this Bush hate and the American public is rapidly getting fed up as evidenced by approval rating for Congress in the teens.

Its the State department that is the one important enemy of this country and always has been. They are lifers, cant be fired for the most part. The Leftist revolution has always understood this and has successfully transformed it into there own little agency based on power and greed through elitism and marxist idealogy. If we were to take up arms to restore our Government we would only need to rid ourselves of this cesspool of leftist morons and we would be on our way.

The world today is in an interesting parallel to the script for the TV series, "Babylon 5" . I wonder if the idea for the plot came from an observation of present day world politics.

Too bad W didn’t clean out the weasels in the State Dept. That place is barely a part of the US.

" The Senate Select committee on intelligence vindicated Chalabi, and the information the Iraqi National Congress supplied to the US intelligence community on Saddam’s WMD programs, in a scathing report released last year. Never heard about that report? Little wonder."

Anyone know what report this is and if there is a link to this report? Thanks.

"Van Diepen systematically refused to carry out direct orders from Bolton to enforce non-proliferation sanctions against Iran and North Korea , because he disagreed with the policy."

Call me nieve but isn't this TRAESON?... If this was nipped in the bud and someone was prosecuted, this game of theirs would be over!

I believe it goes much deeper than this book describes.
After researching the propaganda wars of the Middle East, I suspect remnants of the old Soviet Union to be behind it.

They [Clintonists] were eager to publish anything that did damage to this president, even if it put the lives of our intelligence officers or of our front-line troops in jeopardy . . . [they] owed no allegiance to the president of the United States. . . .

All Rat Party (formerly the traditional, patriotic Democratic Party) candidates are fundamental Clintonists to one degree or other; or perhaps they are divided as is Islam is divided into Shia and Sumni. No matter, their religion is superior to and puts followers beyond being American. It's a higher calling, the wave of the future: A Third Way.

This kind of stuff is what really worries me about having a radical Clintonist as president.

I am not concerned about Mr. Romney and Mr. Huckabee vis-a-vis the impact of their religious beliefs on the constitutional duties of the president but them Clintofascists are worrisome no matter which one should happen to be elected.

The Dems do a much better job than this president has done at protecting their own.

This has been true of the democ'Rats for many decades. It's much easier for them, they have the liberal MSM as firm allies ... if they need the heat turned up on someone they call the NY Times, Washington Post, etc.. Conversely if they need to short cycle a story that's detrimental to them ... their willing accomplices in the liberal media are only to willing to oblige.

It seems to me that the one who has done the most to undermine GWB is GWB himself.

I personally believe this post barley dusts a corner of the surface of what Hillry’s shadow government has done. She is the most experienced elected government official in all of government, she had 8 years to establish her government and nobody was any the wiser. President Bush and Veep Cheney do have reason to call her formidable.

a secret plot to destroy the presidency of George W. Bush

GW Bush is his own worst enemy. He doesn't need anyone to destroy his presidency. He's done a good job all by himself.

The question I have is, why was Bush so ineffective at fighting back against openly insubordinate government workers? That story about the lady who told people not to follow this administration's policies would get back to the White House. Why wasn't she fired immediately? Why didn't he go through and get rid of everyone he could legally fire, and replace them with good conservatives? Why did he take the side of Negroponte and not Goss? Why, why, why????

The related story is the management failures of the Bush Administration, starting from day 1 with the US attorneys and Norm Mineta at transportation, and continuing to the present day with this NIE estimate. He should be calling out the authors and saying that the CIA can no longer be trusted because it has become a captive of the Democrat party, but he feels constrained to fight back. That's what he should have been doing all along.
