There’s another thread on this. What Huck said seems to be true according to the Mormon website
Do you have a link to the other thread?
Glenn Beck is talking about this right now, or rather, he’s talking around it - assailing Huckabee for what he said but not answering the question. The closest he’s come is saying something sarcastic about Stu and Hitler being Christian brothers, followed by “didn’t God create all?” Implying that God created the evil and the good, implying that Jesus is a created being.
That said, I think Huckabee is an idiot for doing this.

______
I think the question is more, how or why is this relevant to a presidential campaign in the US.
It is not difficult to point to any mainstream religion and suggest that this or that doctrine is just plain weird (e.g., virgin birth, rising from the dead, transubstantiation, to name a few that come to mind).
“Theres another thread on this. What Huck said seems to be true according to the Mormon website”
It would be interesting to know the actual truth on what Mormans believe on this, there have been links posted to some of their material indicating this is/or was a belief.
But this stuff doesn’t belong in a presidential election, it belongs in a theological discussion.
Huckabee needs to “no comment” everytime this is brought up.
What Huck said seems to be true according to the Mormon website.”
