Just a suggestion - but you all might want to take a look at Montezuma's Castle. It is really something you won't forget.

our railroad adventure will be on the Grand Canyon RailwayOh goodness....A vaca thread!:) I'll alter the railway info tomorrow so it will reflect the changes.

And, while you are at Montezuma's Castle, it's not too far, to go down to Montezuma's Well. It is almost sur-real, and magical, in it's beauty.

Always glad to help! Well, this meeting is always fun...
Tucson Club CPUSA - Communist Party USA.
General meetings, 1st and 3rd Mondays. 7 pm.
Salt of the Earth Labor College
1902 E. Irene Vista, Tucson, AZ.
And of course, you may want to see a Revolutionary Communist Party favorite, the Pancho Villa statue in downtown Tucson....
What's that? FReepers? Oh, I thought you said "CReepers!" sorry. Well, in that case, I'll change the itinary.
If you get there on the weekend the
Tucson Folk Festival is downtown on May 3rd and 4th and you can still catch Pancho Villa!
Also on May 4th the
Tucson Boys Chorus will be at the Tucson Music Hall.
A little Southwest of Tucson is the
Titan Missile Museum. If you want a "top to bottom" tour or to have you and 3 of your friends sleep overnight in the crews quarters you have to make reservations. I understand if you behave on the tour you get to press the big red button!
If you want to expand your military history education a little more there is the
Pima Air and Space Museum.
If you just want to learn about the desert there is the
Arizona Sonora Desert Museum.

"When you get to Sedona, you will know there is a God. Most beautiful place on earth."That's how I felt the first time I saw it.
You might want to go to the deer farm in Williams (about 30 minutes west of Flagstaff). There are over a hundred deer (or close) that eat right out of your hand. There are reindeer, goats, pot bellied pigs, a buffalo, llama, a giant tom turkey, fox and a couple of cussing parrots. (They won't admit the birds cuss, but I have heard them.)
I have taken guests there for years, and they all have loved it.
Check it out, here:
Grand Canyon Deer Farm (Check the last words on the front page: "We support our troops".)
