I is my understanding that he did not grow up with Mike Wallace. His parents divorced when he was small and his mother remarried a “conservative,” that is to say, someone with working brain parts and a few, select principles.

I’ve tried to watch CNN.
Just...Can’t....Do...It
Local news only.
anything else comes from the internet.
Starting with FR (rarely even do Drudge anymore)

That is one of their big problems ... they need to run it on both Fox Networks at the same time and in the morning. Not running it on FNC in the morning hours is a big mistake! By the time 5pm comes around I am not watching FNC I am in the middle of watching football game.

Tony Snow quit to go to the White House. I think Wallace was a good hire.

I made an error, Sorry. I checked and I am on the Top 250 plan. It is the cheapest plan that also has FNC.

I don't disagree, but that's what attracts the audience that brings in the ad revenue.
Unfortunately this is the truth, and most people don't realize that - Fox and CNN do not exist to push a certain agenda or lean a certain way - they exist to make money and they make money by pushing ads (of course they maybe packaged to appeal to left-leaning or right-leaning viewers, but at the end of the day it's all about ad money). If Nancy Grace or Bill O'Reilly or Captain Mascara stop pulling in eyeballs, then they will be replaced with somebody who can.
Rupert Murdoch may have strong libertarian leanings, but I have no doubt that if he thought changing Fox's lineup to appeal to lefties would sell five times as much advertising revenue, that he would do so in a heartbeat.

I’m pretty disappointed with what I get, for what I pay.
I’ll tough it out until closer to the end of my contract. I refuse to pay someone to stop providing me service.
Guess that’s why they do it.

Also, Wallace is quick to highlight the shows effect on steering the political conversation, mentioning how Rudy Giuliani aide Anthony Carbonetti called him the previous night to explain what that whole funding mishap was about.Having served as an extension of the Giuliani campaign, Fox News certainly OUGHT to have ready access to Rudy's spokesmen. I hope they're having second thoughts about their support for Rudy.
