We here in Kentucky can sure relate to what you in the ice-ravaged areas are going thru. We had a devastating icestorm about 4 years ago, miles and miles of trees down, wires, etc. Folks were in their homes trying to keep warm with what they could find, others went to hotels and family out of town, it was a horrible mess. Our prayers are with those without power. It will take awhile but things will go back to normal.

Wow. Great photos. We can't use our front door because the steps and walk are a sheet of ice. I had to pour bucket after bucket of hot water on the deck and steps (it's a full flight), then dry it all with towels so that the dogs can get down to the yard.
We're expecting more freezing rain tonight.

The storm hit you guys really hard! That looks like what we dealt with yrs ago. I’m sorry to hear about your AC. Did you get another storm later?
