Did you catch the statement about the police saying he might have shot himself?
He comes to the church with 1,000 rounds, shoots two people dead, and says, ok that is enough killing & shoots himself? I doubt it.
I believe the police chiefs that are dead set against conceal & carry are thinking they need to bring Jeane down a notch and are spreading misinformation.
Let’s get a consensus of the people who are alive but would not be except for her action.
It would have to be misinformation, because the person who took the creep’s gun away (after the guard had shot him dead and he was sliding down the wall) said that the gun had jammed. So I think that rules out suicide.
FoxNews is reporting an online rant left by Murray in which he says he intended to kill as many as possible in the “shootout.”
This woman saved a lot of lives.
“Did you catch the statement about the police saying he might have shot himself?”
Okay, lets take the Police’s statement about how he might have actually shot himself. Let’s assume its true (which I don’t believe for a minute). What is it that caused him to commit suicide? If this woman was not charging him and firing, would he have commited suicide or kept going on killing many others? I think we all know the answer to these questions. With that in mind, even if he did commit suicide, she still saved a lot of lives.
I have no doubt he would have eventually killed himself. However, it would have been when he was running out of ammo and I doubt that any police officers who got on the scene while he was still killing people would have went inside. We have historical information to back this up. Remember Columbine? The Police stayed outside and did not try to enter the building until after all the shooting stopped. The reason is that the police are not there to stop crimes necessarily as to clean up and solve it after the crime has been commited. We the people have to stop these mass killings.
....."police say the same man killed four people at the church and a missionary training school in a nearby city."
he didn't shoot himself at the last church
Local lib TV news here in MN had to point out she was fired from MPLS P.D. as well. As if that really matters to this story. Seems to me she redeemed herself a thousand times over.
Future stories like this (with a happy ending)will always point out the flaws (real or created)in the hero, no matter how small or irrelevant it is to the big picture. Big picture being: when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
