This article does not describe her maneuvering-into-position or any of that. I suppose that can be found elsewhere, but have not yet heard or read it. Any thoughts?

This article does not describe her maneuvering-into-position or any of that. I seem to remember reading that she described just stepping out in front of him, identifying herself, and shooting him when he started to raise his weapon.

"It was just me, the gunman, and God." I identified myself, I engaged him and then I took him down," she said at the press conference. "I didn't run away. I didn't think for a minute to run away. I knew I was the one given the assignment to stop this thing."A real Miss America!!!

The story is a little light on details, but too much information might be a bad thing.
I would like to know what weapon she used?
