Yeah. There ain't nobody that would target Christians just for being Cristians...
Blame it on the hair stylists.....
I’ve been nagged and I’ve seen them nag women with long hair to cut it....
Because “you’re old, too heavy, too thin, it doesn’t suit your face, it doesn’t suit your lifestyle.”
Believe me when I say, there’s lots of pressure the older you get to ‘look your age.’
Free Republic is the best place to learn about the strange ideas men have and share only with others in the asylum. LOL
MMMmmmm!
Perhaps. Or perhaps they don't want to steal her thunder?
God is still there when only one person is alone with Him. He is always present.
With that in mind, what do you believe is the purpose of Jesus stating that when two or more are gathered, he is there also?
Jeanne Assam...America’s finest!
Let your hair grow and find a good stylist who ‘hears’ you and can give you a good cut and style.
Of course there are. And I can even point to a heck of a lot of (so called) Christians who target other Christians for their own reasons. But this is nothing new. It's the world we live in. Always has been. And it's not going to change.
But many churches today still get along very well without such security. My whole point has been it makes me wonder why the dichotomy? That's all I've asked. Now, let's get on to something else, shall we?
I addressed the issue of church security. I have no intention of turning it into a discussion of religious beliefs.
True.
My whole point has been it makes me wonder why the dichotomy?
Differences in the perceived threat maybe?
That's all I've asked. Now, let's get on to something else, shall we?
What about them Niners?
What about the Packers? That’s coffee talk here; even in Bears land.
I’ll ping you next time...
Though I do remember one Freeperette who tried it alone (not me!) and caught holy hell because the guys didn’t get the irony or joke.
Something about they can do it but we can’t. ;)
We have hormones too and they work...
and we like to look as much if not MORE than men (its a fact). :)
Personally (and this is just me), I don't think a woman should cut her hair. Ever. Or at least not until it bugs you because it gets caught under you when you sit down. =]
Ooooooooo baby baby...
The problem is you can have someone divorced who feels like they are widowed,
someone widowed who feels like they were divorced from a hellacious marriage,
someone single who feels like they were married for years.
someone married who feels like they were single for years.
Titles don’t indicate emotions or behaviors.
And I HATE the term baggage because unless you’re a 12 year old virgin, every human has baggage if they’ve lived and breathed.
Nothing burns my toast quicker than a guy saying “I’ll only date widows because they have less baggage than a divorcee’”
Hellloooo, meet the widder from hell hun ;)
Thanks,
I thought I was the only evil man hater (which is what you’re accused of if you point out the double standard).
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Love it!!!!
First, I called him Coward, then I called him Shead Bourbonnais said. I probably shouldnt have been saying that in church.
LOL!
