Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors:
On two separate occasions in 2007, your august body attempted to condemn radio talk show host Michael Savage for his conservative positions on rule of law and Islamic sponsored terrorism.
In August, your efforts were thwarted by Ed Jew, a board member of Chinese descent whose grandfather came to America seven decades ago. Unfortunately, Mr. Jew is no longer a member of the board, and was not there in October when your board passed a resolution condemning Michael Savage.
First of all, congratulations seem in order.
Most municipal governments are absorbed with fighting budget deficits, rampant crime, drugs, AIDS, and other epidemics that voters expect responsible elected officials to solve.
Very few cities outside San Francisco use taxpayers’ time and money to monitor and censure radio talk show hosts.

You may not like Savage (pretty obvious), but he kicks a$$ and takes names. He won’t back down, nor does he fake documentaries and lie like moore. Do you feel the same about Ann Coulter?
That is your opinion of Savage, not mine...To me, like I've already said, he's the Republican version of the dems' Michael Moore...Doing more harm to the cause than good.

Savage is a loud-mouthed, racist, bumbling fool and hurtful to the Republican cause. Ann is just the opposite on all fronts. I'm not a blind follower of hers like many here...(For instance, she's not the end-all, be-all in Republican beauty...I don't like women who have thighs the same size as their calves)...but I love what comes out of her well-educated mouth about 95% of the time.

You do realize what the people Savage is railing against have to say about us, correct? Savage is sort of like equal time for all of Islam, which is to say hardly equal time. He’s got a well deserved aversion to people who want to see another Holocaust cuz um he’s Jewish and stuff. So he’s certainly got a dog in this fight. And like I wrote, what Savage (real name is Finkelman or something) says is probably considered a polite sermon taken in the extreme other case of having someone from a muslim country talk about Americans (in general). And why do they get to revel in their heritage and religion while we are supposed to shuck all that as soon as possible? Does this seem like a healthy development for the US? Or are you a believer that we are destined to be the world’s country, a place where the oppressed of the world yearn to live. Meaning more bath houses than foot baths per capita. But not by much.
I won’t care about any of this much longer. Going to join Mel Gibson in Costa Rica when I turn 55.

I make apologies for no man. As a matter of fact Michael Savage has made a fool of himself making a big deal out of having 20K tickets to a bigtime boxing event. And this is when he’s asking people for Save Monica internet donations. That’s pretty nervy but then that’s Michael Savage. He wouldn’t be interesting if he wasn’t extreme.
