WTF man? Not every woman who’s attractive is lacking in moral fiber.

Gimme a break, dude. I teach that age group (approx). 20 years old? What's her skill and level of experience that negates the innate risk? If she's a real KBR employee they're running a huge liability based on her gender and age. Don't worry about it. Heck, there've been camp followers since the days of the Roman Empire. I wouldn't put it past some of the big corporations to employ such professionals as an "on the job" perk to the real risk takers. Hey, I'll bet she's raking in more than the guys.

That’s a very interesting point. Cynical as hell, but interesting nonetheless.

Or perhaps people like her are hired because they are young and don’t yet have families so they are more willing to be shipped off to a foreign country. Its her right to decide to take the extra risk and it is wrong to assume that she had bad intentions simply because she was young and decided to go to Iraq. Like I said earlier, I know a young women - a young lady of impeccable morals - who went to work for the provisional authority right out of college.

Yeah, right. Good-looking, young---guess she's a whore!

Wow, if only everything were as simple.

My wife has been working as a KBR contractor in Iraq (I won’t say exactly where and in what capacity for privacy reasons) for nearly a year so naturally this story is of high concern to me and the first I’ve heard of it. I will get her take on it the next time we speak. I do know that female KBR contractors receive a good deal of training regarding sexual assault/harrassment (Don’t go to male barracks alone, etc.) because it has been an issue on base. They were told of incidents that had occurred. KBR contractors come from all walks of life and you can imagine what could go wrong in a male-dominated environment. My wife can handle herself and she hasn’t had any problems. The girls over there stick together. I know MSM bias is always a concern, but the dismissive jibes some Freepers are spouting on this thread are frankly pretty stupid. Clearly this wasn’t handled well by KBR no matter what happened. Like I said, I will be talking with my wife about this and will come back with some insight.
