Bourbonnais (the Vietnam Vet who was injured) mentioned that they turned a corner and then saw him sliding down and start bleeding. I’m speculating of course, but it could be that after she engaged him and he was hit he “retreated” to another area, and then upon realizing his plans were at an end turned the gun on himself, before they turned the corner. However, Bourbonnais also states that he picked up the gun, cleared the chamber, and that the shooter’s gun had jammed. If this is the case I wonder as well how he could’ve killed himself. A jammed gun doesn’t fire, does it? Very interesting...
