COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At least four people were shot outside of a Colorado Springs church on Sunday, but it was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away, authorities said.
What I am saying: God’s nature is not to commit murder; He is incapable of committing evil atrocities. He will allow things to happen not of His own doing. But these things happen either as “natural” consequences to people’s actions or satan’s interference in people’s lives (choices people have made through their free will....even to the point of making evil choices to commit murder). God cannot interfere with everything everyone does every time, otherwise, there would be no such thing as “free will.”
OTOH, as He has in times past, He will and does intervene oftentimes and sends protection to His people.
Ultimately, He will put an end to all the evilness going on in this world once for all. Tat will certainly entail a Holy War; however, it is not waged for the purpose of evil intent, as is the case we had today in these church shootings.
I guess I’m not making myself clear. *sigh*

As I was reading that info, I had the TV show “Cold Case” on - they play old music to go with the era in which their cold cases happened.
Well, this one was in 1944 and the song that was playing - just as I was reading about the sharpshooter in the church - was “Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition.”

Other hand? Perhaps God was effective this time to keep any intended bombs from going off and killing scores, or similar mass-destructive havoc (if the rumor about bombs proves untrue). We may all count our blessings, including the ones that remain unknown to us, on such occasions as evil-doers' intent being prevented by God.

I can only imagine that the shooter was shooting at people in the parking lot to get them to run back into the church - then torch the church. Just guessing though.

Well, from the information I’ve been getting it seems that the location and the perp’s body is not exactly secure, so that would explain why we haven’t heard a name yet. However, I would hope by 10 p.m. the police might have more information.
I know what you mean about the SF Hit-and-Run incident. I’ve got some information regarding that on my blog, but I admittedly haven’t followed up on it myself...

Yeah, I know. I miss more of them than I catch - but 30s and 40s music is my favorite and I am separated from my CD collection, so I take what I can get.
It was really nice to hear most of Blue Birds over the White Cliffs of Dover in this one, too.
