The only person I have spoken to in Iowa stated he found it disconcerting to see Fred talk about his numerous sexual affairs when he was single. This person also thought it strange and disconcerting that Fred has babies and a trophy wife so much younger than he is. If pro-life views are a pennant issue then along with that “pennant” must go personal and traditional sexual mores.

I think these things might matter to some but not to me. Incidentally, people usually do not vote on the basis of endorsements. It is a start to achieving recognition but it is not the final matter in the decision making process which invariably is broader, unconscious and founded on personal feelings and assessments of the candidates.

Fred’s had a lot of girlfriends and they all still like him. As far as numerous sexual affairs, I doubt seriously if a southern gentleman would describe his friendships in that manner.

It worthwhile to not that Fred's status as the candidate of choice for "real conservatives" is by default, not because he's that great. If you look at his record, he's basically a McCain.

I've watched Fred a number of times, and NEVER heard him "talk about his numerous sexual affairs when he was single". His wife is younger, but he had been single for years when they started dating, so she doesn't match a trophy wife definition.

As for the kids - how do you think he got the bags under his eyes? Too much bed, too little sleep!
