Trying to convince everyone I know or contact that conservatism is good, liberalism is bad and must be defeated this election before its too late. Nothing more. Why not make a more personal investiment like volunteering for GOP party activities and becoming involved with a particular candidate? Are you providing monetary contributions to the GOP and local candidates? Talk is cheap.
You know, I'd be less worried about it if McCain's gang of 13 (or 14?) hadn't blocked our 3rd SC nomination, but he did and I can't tolerate a liberal appointing another judge. You apparently can. That's just a sample of what's at stake and I won't help 'em, which you apparently will. The next SC judge in an of itself changes our future for decades. How can you sit it out, and please spare me your "primaries" boilerplate.
Did you vote for McCain in the AZ senate race? I am not sitting it out. I am engaged far more than you are. I will be voting in 2008.

I have a feeling Obama and Hillary are going to blow each other up and Richardson will fill the gap.
In a general election he really worries me.
To: chiller
I doubt Kabar will be sitting out any election. He knows the process well having spent many years in DC,and in my case has probably forgotten more about politics than I will ever know.He has my respect.

The “Money Honey clips were very revealing, showed Hillary’s socialist bent to a tee. You can be sure those clips and that entire interview will be well hidden by the dbm. My only hope is that we use them against here when the time is right.

I wonder too...the homies know all the warts better than anyone else. McCain's my Senator and I'd never vote for him. Georgians warned of Carter, Arkansans warned of BJClinton, and are warning now of Huck.
I do consider Mass a wasteland as far as conservative thought goes...hopeless, so I'd need more proof of Mitt's ineffectiveness. Everything else contradicts this report.
And I don't doubt the conservative values of this Mormon...even if he massaged his positions a decade ago to work with the libs.

I'm 99% sure the rat nomination is Hillary's to lose. Remember she has opponents who even get close taken out in one way or another,so she will be the "guy" to beat for sure.

That’s a good question. You make me stop my lunch to respond.
One week at GOP headquarters...a great place, I’m having a great time by the way. I make a bunch of them nervous, however. Anyway I got to spend a quiet afternoon with the head of the Sussex county GOP. Sussex county...the largest county east of the Mississippi and all powerful here in Deleware.
I never heard of Sussex county before I moved here but Somebody made a little piece of heaven for me right here on earth. Very conservative...very nice...very Republican people.
I think every one of them would respond the same way as I did...with the finger thing. My sense is that Fred is the favorite. That day I worked the Delaware state fair I didn’t pick up a favorite either and back in July Fred hadn’t even announced.
I did sense, for what it’s worth...that absolutely no one around here likes Hillary and hey, I’m talking up in north Delaware where the liberals and Wilmington dead live.
All hunches I must admit but I like to bill myself as the scribe of the Middle Class.
The Keeper of the Common Sense...that’s me.

Kabar has had my respect also, but the desire to sit out the Pres. vote (which he threatens to do) must be discouraged, strongly...for all the reasons mentioned earlier. I hope and think you agree.

Mrs. Clinton has a big surprise in store for her.
Here's my question...if she doesn't get the nomination, other than the thunderous booms we will hear coming from Chappaqua, what will her plan be? She certainly cannot lower herself to campaign for Obama or the Breck Girl. Settling for Sec. of State or Supreme Court Justice is out of the question. So will she sabotage the Dem to show that Clinton Inc. is still in power??? Because if the Dems win the White House without her, Bubba will continue to take his show on the road leaving her in the dust.

That’s an interesting question, I just don’t see it happening. You are right though she is not a genteel loser.
I would not want to be the insurance carrier for the winner either.
