You'll be a troll for about a year. After that, you're one of us... we get hit by the DU quite a bit and it's made us understandably suspicious. Just keep your head down for a few more months and you'll be fine.
He did really well in the CNN debate and won me over. He seems to have the Freepers' positions on all the issues, and that works for me.

Well, as regards the officer you mention, I can attest that many folks would not be pinning on gold bars were it not for the scholarship that went along with those bars. I like to think that there are not too many examples of those folks, but there are at least some.

Both books were extraordinary.
In the book about Fallujah, there is a great passage were Mattis goes to the front line, they are taking fire from a mosque, and Mattis just turns to a crew and says “Put a TOW into that thing.”
Done. No pussyfooting around.
