I’ll tell you, as Thompson loses ground, I’m getting more interested in Hunter. If I’m going to back a conservative who doesn’t have a chance, why not back the best conservative? Nothing against Fred, and I’m still supporting him. However, I do recognize Hunter as objectively more qualified.

It’s a crying shame that a fraud like Huckabee seems to have caught on when a guy like Hunter has been languishing in asterick land forever.

Undecided so far- but Hunter is impressive.
It outrages me to hear him say he’s pro troop, but is anti chain of command.
It’s like the Dims and Gimmies saying they are for the troops but agaist the war.
It’s such self serving hypocritical moral trash.
It works out to be the same thing. If you pro forma attack the chain of command, you attack it’s ability to be effectively cohesive at both utilizing and protecting those troops.

Nope. one tongue, that has a fork in it.
Thompson is a true conservative, straight-talker and sound thinker... and a much quicker thinker than Hunter. He’s much quicker on his feet. Hunter has all the right answers, but they are stock answers. Thompson is much better at addressing the question-of-the-moment with accuracy and cogency.
Thompson is the better leader. But Hunter’s up there. And i would definitely vote for him.
Looking at the gas tube at end of the stock I’d say it’s an M-14, The box mag seems to be behind his knee. Picture quality makes it tough to ID conclusively.
