Next they'll want to ban motorcycles and bicycles.

KRAMER: Of course, uh, this is Central Park. Uh, this was designed in 1850 by Joe Peppitone. Um, built during the Civil War so the northern armies could practice fighting on...on grass. Oh, yeah. Giddyup. On Rusty!

Welcome to the 21st Century New York City.
It is long past time that horse drawn carriages be banned from the city.

Global Warming.
Just tell us that these horses (and their droppings) contribute to Global Warming.
That’s all we need to know.
Good-bye horses!

I would prefer that they ban street musicians with drums.

The horse-drawn carriages that clip clop around Central Park could be banned under City Council legislation to be introduced at the urging of animal advocates who say the horses are treated inhumanely. BS! Anyone who knows about these things know that the owners treat their horses like gold, being their bread-and-butter means for making a living.

Well, this is PETA and company using Avella (willingly) as their sock puppet, so the reality of the situation isn’t exactly going to get any play.

You can see them in this video, starting around 3:20. Pay no attention to the moonbat singer. :)

And the carriage appears again at about 9:15.
They’re a NYC tradition and it would be sad to see them go.

Ban the street musicians is more like it.

That is exactly what I thought the subject of this story would be when I read the title.
All mammals exhale CO2. How much longer until the bureau-nannies want to regulate breathing?
