Oh well, even a blind pig finds an acorn every now and then.

I don’t know why this Huckabee supporter posted this.

If you notice, Huckabee now supports federal funding for AID’s research.

This is just another example of a Huckabee Flip-Flop.

I don’t even think the pig found an acorn this time. I agree that too much public money goes into research funding but the idea of isolating people because they have aids is just plain insane.

What I could do with that statement. I won't, though I am sorely tempted. :)

Oh well, even a blind pig finds an acorn every now and then.

Those were, so to speak, my thoughts - broken clock and all.

I felt the same way - all other deadly, communicable diseases throughout the ages, were isolated, and millions of others were protected.

Additionally, like TB, the sufferers were not complicit in their illness, where with, in the beginning, most of the AIDS patients not only contributed to their illness but continued in the life style known to spread it - and had little compunction about spreading it to others.

But they were able to turn it into a "PC" issue and they DID get far more funding than other deadly diseases.

Then it got loose in the drug user domain and spread like wildfire. And they were allowed to make money selling their contaminated blood. How many tens of thousands have died due to "PC"
