Jane Harman ought not to have any say in the matter.

But Jane couldn't’t tell anyone else because that would conflict with the policy she wrote about sharing information between agencies(that would have probably prevented 9/11)

"I told the CIA that destroying any tapes of interrogations was a bad idea," Harman said. "I gave the best advice I could, and obviously my advice was not heeded."

Gee Gosh Janie, you gave the CIA your best advice and they had other ideas. Wow, imagine not listening to a democrat Representative when the security of our nation is at stake.

This is such a non-story. EVERY country in the world uses harsh interrogation/torture on certain prisoners. The canard floated around that “torture doesn’t work” is specious, at best, since we have gained much valuable information from what many would refer to as torture since 9/11.

The more the Rats keep talking the more we’re finding out that they knew about the tapes which is contrary to their original claims.

It just occurred to me that the CIA tapes interrogations of terrorist, but NCIS won’t tape interrogations of Marines.

She probably knew about Berger too and gave her best advise.

The interrogations should not have been recorded in the first place, thereby depriving the ‘rats of ammo for these type of Watergate-style accusations.

You are confusing Rep. Jane Harmon with Jamie Gorelick, a State Dept. honcho in the Clintoid administration.

This whole story is just stupid. Who cares what she said or advised. The point is moot, you destroy sensitive information. You especially don’t want it widely disseminated. Terrorists would love to get hold of that information. The next time the CIA wants to destroy information, wipe it off the record, with nothing more said about it; I know this guy named Sandy (Wide Drawers) Burglar.

The only reason these folks are upset about the destruction of these interrogation tapes is that they want to show them on TV just like the Abu Grab photographs.

The story is stupid but I will do everything I can to cut the legs out from under it in hopes of keeping this from becoming another political football. Probably won’t work.

A rat can not be trusted with security! Not one second!!

I would love to see all the data on Serbia! What drove a White Christian to attack another White Christian! Would Ms. Harman please hand over all the info the CIA has on file?

RUSH: No, it's because they keep secrets, you idiots! It's the CIA, for crying out loud! What are we talking about? Are they a video production company for you people? I'm sorry to rant. I really am. I know my voice rises. It's not as bad as Mrs. Clinton's, but... It's the CIA. They are supposed to keep secrets! Good grief. What do they expect? The CIA to make these tapes available? Yes, they do, because they're not interested in national security. They just want to go after the people who are protecting us. I don't think it's ever going to happen. These are people that would kill you as soon as look at you. They'd do it in the most vicious and brutal ways. We're dealing with a new breed of human debris here.
