KGO night-time talk show host Bernie Ward was indicted in Federal Court today on two counts of child pornography using the Internet. Ward’s attorney says the incidents are from more than four years ago and were a part of research for a book.
KGO’s Operations Director Jack Swanson says, “Bernie Ward has been a valued, long-time employee of KGO Radio. We were just recently made aware of these serious charges and are surprised and concerned by their nature. As the matter is currently pending in federal court, we will have no additional comment at this time. A substitute host will do the 10pm – 1am, Monday – Friday broadcast and the Sunday morning Godtalk broadcast

Well, I used to pick up Mr. Ward “on the skip” when in Los Angeles
listening to AM radio.
If the charges are true...it’s just another sign of the less-than-noble
truth about liberal “humanists”.
They’re ALWAYS doing ‘research for a book’, aren’t they?
And after wading through the BS produced by Ward and his attorney for four years the Feds indicted him.
What up wit dat, yo?! Where the hell's the book? Oh yeah, he just wanted to "get it right".

The “research for a book” defense is his angle. He has to say something.

Ward admits he did download the material for 'research'. It is not like his computer was hijacked by a Trojan program or something like that.
