I am a federal employee and I am indeed rejoicing! I work part time, Mondays and Fridays only, and it was going to be very tough to work on Christmas Eve—I have 4 children, we have church to go to, and a slew of people over for standing rib roast that evening, and a have an 1.5 hour commute one way, and my boss was not going to give me permission to take the day off— So, yippee! My boss’s boss’s boss’s boss=George Bush and I get the day off!
