I think welfare reform, shrinking government, getting rid of programs designed to help people, was one of the most postive political developments over the past 30 years. More needs to be done. Some charts on this:

Whenever I talk about Bill Clinton, I always give him credit for welfare reform. Nothing else of course. This is his only real positive achievement.
