I don't think sharia law prevails in those parts of France. France's Muslim immigrants are almost completely secular, which means these mutants have far more in common with urban thugs here in the U.S. than with Muslims in the Middle East.

Take a look at any photos of the riots in France over the last couple of years. If you didn't know where those photos were taken, you'd swear you were looking at a scene in Detroit or Los Angeles. And the typical rioter in those photos looks no different than the suspects in the recent Sean Taylor murder, or the perps in the "Jena 6" attack.

Agree with you about the urban thug thing, but...take a spin around the Internet before you say there is no push for Sharia in France with such certainty.
