Very concerned about Fred. He need to gain traction. Yesterday I think Michael “The Man of Steel” made some remarks about the candidates.

In passing he said Fred is flatlining. I’m afraid he may right.

If Fred is flatlining, then so is Romney. Today Fred is last among the front runners in the Rasmussen, but yesterday Romney was. In fact , Romney had a bad week. No one said Romney was dead. Romney has slipped greatly in Iowa and, other than NH, he does not have much of a lock on any more states than Fred. Fred is tied for 1st in SC and has a good chance of winning there.

This race is still as open to Fred as it is to any of the other front runners. The parade of Thompson obituaries are only intended to make us believe otherwise.

Everybody has to stop worrying about "traction" and the horserace aspect of the primaries. This is not a general election. John Kerry trailed Howard Dean by double digits two weeks before New Hampshire in 2004 and won by 13% - a 23% gain!
