I will say that folks should be very careful about who they gun down. If a well meaning person ends the life of an innocent, they should face a hell of a sentence for having done so.

No that has always been one of the big cons..

If a well meaning citizen reasonably believes a crime is taking place and becomes involved resulting in the loss of innocent life.

They should no more face any criminal sanction than a Police Officer acting reasonably involved in the same situation..

It will be an accident and a tragedy but no crime. It should not be used by prosecutors (as it is now) to deter citizens from acting prudently and actively in defense of themselves their neighbors and communities.

One law for all or no law at all.

While I pretty much do agree with you, there are people out there that don’t have much sense. I would like to give that person a little cause for trying to think in broad terms when confronting someone. Are they actually committing a crime? Could they actually be an unknown member of the family?

That’s all.
