The Bible doesn’t say that we must attend church services to be right with the Lord.

...actually, if you want to be true to Biblical tradition, you would spend the Sabbath at home, with your family at rest and go to the Temple for special feast days.

Actually the Bible does talk about meeting with other Christians.

Well, yes it does actually (Heb. 10:25), but it also says that where two or three are gathered together in His name that He will be in the midst of them. (Matt. 18:20). Who is to say that Fred and Jeri don’t study and worship privately when they aren’t in TN?

I understand why Fred might worship publicly when he goes home to TN, and not in other places. But, I don’t know for certain why he does it, any more than the folks criticizing him know the reasons.

My inclination is to believe that Fred’s relationship with the Lord is more secure than many,if not most, of his judgmental critics. The fact that he doesn’t make a show of his faith is no indication that it isn’t more genuine than those who love to make a public show of theirs.
