Now, Lyman -- who has never voted...LOL.
The goal of the site ... is to collect $100 from 100,000 people for a total of $10 million.
Good luck with that.

Good luck with that. Well, Paul is outraising the top tier candidates, regardless. It's quite remarkable.

I bet they raise more than $5M on Dec. 16. They could even hit $7M.
To: jdm
How far short of the $2.5M goal, exactly?
The article implies - but does not explicitly state - that Paul came up $2M short.

Not really considering his supporters. RP supporters tend to be some of the most committed so it’s not surprising that they will send money. The downside is that they are too few in number to affect outcomes once the voting starts.

Paul's fundraising success defies his poor showing in the polls. No it doesn't. A significant portion of his funds are coming from the left, who want him in the race as a spoiler/divider. But they're not planning on voting for him.

I believe I read that the 11/30 only raised about $200k, 1/10th what was predicted and pledged. I’ll double check that number.

I think the RuPaulette pothead/war4oil/9/11insidejob/superhighwayconspiracy moonbats may actually vote DUmmie normally.
I could be wrong and remain conflicted if I don't really want RuPaul to go third party.

My Bad, $500K, not $200K, 1/5th of prediction/pledges.

Clearly a result of the “unconstitutional” raid on the Ron Paul Liberty dollar mint. Seizure of Ron Paul currency is only the most recent of many gobernment’s fascist plots since and including 9/11, designed to crush liberty and establish a police state.

It is remarkable that he can raise this kind of money (well not him but the internet guy) and still not be above 5-6% in the polls.
(Ok, I know the polls are wrong.)

...actually, look at his numbers with the Dems, in which case, he is raising around the level of Bill Richardson, and polling about the same as well... his fundraising to polling ratio fits perfectly if you move him over to the D camp.
If it was all about who can raise the most money, we might as well give up and say Obama or Hilldog are the best candidates, after all, they are raising far more than anyone.

His campaign said last week that he has raised $10.3 million in the past two months, surpassing the amount raised by front-runner Rudy Giuliani in three months between July and September.

"Excellent."

I’m wondering what happens to the leftover money when Paul finally has to drop out, or even after the convention when he doesn’t win. Does he get to keep it even though he’s swearing he won’t run third-party if he loses the nomination?
Right now, Paul’s dollar-per-vote total has got to be the highest of any candidate. I don’t want to see him win the nomination, but I’ve got to admit, it’s remarkable to watch this unfold.

The GOP establishment and the MSM are colluding to dismiss Paul by marginalising him as a kook. Why you should want to join in their game is a question you should be asking yourself.
