That makes sense. How do you know he's on the no fly list?
How do you know he is not?LOL
( The only reason Canada would refuse his credentials as an ambassador would be that he didn't pass security vetting, or if he had the bird flu, or the bubonic plague.)
Last week I visited the Homeland Security website. I spent a few hours there. I was quite impressed with their security regime, and the first thing that happens if someone triggers a security flag in their system ( eg money transfer or donation to a terrorist organization, BAWANGO!, on to that No Fly list they go!)
The only way to get off the list is to plead mistaken Identity, and its not reviewable by court action.
The No Fly list has become a litmus test for all security risks, and the only way anyone finds out if they are on it or not, is to go to an airport and try to get a boarding pass for a flight landing or taking of in the USA. The USA is said to have about 40 thousand on the list, Canada has 2000 or so.
The Iranians are always truing to dismantle or compromise US security, and one way to accomplish it would be to get diplomatic privileges and immunity for one of their Islamofascists who is on the no fly list. Then Islamofascist terrorist have a courier who can schmooze with CAIR. But Canada isn't playing that game.
I'd love to see a copy of that list, as much as you would.
