Assuming that they will build Indian Point, chances are that the local politicans will saddle it with so many government regulations, strong arm the builders into erecting other things (like thousands of low cost apartments), that the price of building and running the place will force Indian point to charge outrageous amounts just so that they can recoup their costs.
Ummmm, Indian Point is built, and running (at leaast Units 2 and3). But the issue is that there is an agenda to prevent the RE-licensing of the plant for another 20 years of operation.
