Does anybody think Hugo is just going to accept the “will of the people” and stop his campaign tor further radicalize the Venezuelan countryside?

L-no he ain’t. He will just have to be a little more vigorous in enforcing civic calm and compliance.

It’s going to be interesting watching how he reacts to this. He said he would cutoff oil sales to the US if he lost. I bet he conveniently forgets that threat.

I agree. I think I read his term isn’t up until 2013. He’ll continue to socialize things, and I can’t see him leaving power when his term is up. He’ll then preside over his communist dictatorship.
