Riot police were on the scene in a Pasadena neighborhood Sunday afternoon as a planned protest teetered on the brink of mayhem.

Quanell X and his followers planned to meet in front of the home of Joe Horn, the man who shot and killed two suspected burglars at his neighbor’s home last month, in the 7400 block of Timberline for a protest around 3 p.m.

But they were met with an even larger group of protesters in support of Horn’s actions.

Didn’t Quannell and his troops march with rifles outside of Huntsville one time?

I heard him saying some slanderous stuff about this man who shot the other men and he also made some questionable comments about his weapon.

"Texas law allows people to use deadly force to protect themselves if it is reasonable to believe they could otherwise be killed. In limited circumstances, people also can use deadly force to protect their neighbor’s property; for example, if a homeowner asks a neighbor to watch over his property while he’s out of town."

That's not even close to what the law allows. Texas law allows deadly force in many circumstances of which fear for your own life is only one. Defense of a third-person's property, even if he has never spoken to you, is yet another.

When Malcolm the Tenth came out, I wore a Henry the Fifth hat to demonstrate my hero was a righteous Christian king. Nowdays, you can't get a nice, clean "V" hat...if you don't want the sabres , you have to get the circle . The tinfoil-hat part of me wonders if someone saw my Usenet posts about this 15 years ago and squashed the classic design; the non-tinfoil side says, "nah...marketers squash all classic designs...you can't even find a straightforward X hat anymore!" :-)

I am interested to know WHY you don’t think he was right.
He felt threatened, he shot the SOB.
Case Closed.

Quanell X and his followers

Many of us locals "affectionately call him "Q the 10th" and his band of merrymen, Q-10s.....

I said, “I am not sure if what he did was right”. We know what he did was legal and in accordance with Texas Law. How can any of us be sure? You are correct, the case is closed, unless the Feds find a way to interfere. But then, with the right DA you can never tell what may happen. We have 2 Border Patrol Agents in the Pokey for shooting a drug dealer in the a$$, so you can’t really count on anything, as a sure thing.

He is the only one that knows for sure what happened and you have to take him at his word I think. If he wasn’t truly threatened and he shot and killed 2 men over a bag of bobbles; That is something he will have to answer for some day to far greater than us or Texas Law.

I wonder how much longer this "hate whitey" coalition is going to last. IMHO, it's not for long because of economics and politics. I could be wrong. We shall see. Discord roils L.A. Unified parent panel

Follower of Farrakan.

I live in Jasper, where James Byrd Jr was dragged, and Quanell brought his tribe here to protest during the week of the funeral. It was very hot when a local black woman went up to him with a glass of water, poured it on his feet, and told him to get what he brought with him and go back where he came from.

Time for a timely “Quote from Quanell” Some may have forgotten…..

"If you feel that you just got to mug somebody because of your hurt and your pain, go to River Oaks and mug you some good white folks. If you’re angry that our brother is put to death, don’t burn down your own community, give these white folks hell from the womb to the tomb."
