Well, if there is, that is just another reason for rejoicing at the anniversary of our Lord’s birth. It’s going
to be a good Christmas this year for the SoldierDad family!

Where will your son be stationed now that he is back home? I
hope it’s somewhere fairly close, and that it’s a fun place
for them to live.

Well, ah. The answer is “No” and “NO”. He’s at Ft. Drum in New York. That’s nearly as far from home as he can get (the New England States would only be farther). And, according to him, New York State is not a fun place to be (although I think it’s better than where I was stationed in the Air Force - North Dakota).
