I’m leaning towards Romney. I’m convinced that he’s the best.

I hope not, Fred needs to let Huck keep whacking on Mitt and Rudy for a bit...

Huck has been a gift that Fred has gladly accepted...

Exactly...

Huck just enhanced the plan. Fred has to be happy he can leave some of that money in the back as the three CINO amigos try and out conservative each other. Save Fred money and gives him plenty of ammo for his assault in the end.

Why is reporting on his comments an ‘attack’?

By your approach, no candidate could oppose any other candidate’s positions.

The Huckster will be exposed for the self-serving politican he really is IF he accepts a VP slot under Giuliani..

"100 % PRO-LIFE HUCKABEE. YES! Abortion is murder—bald, blunt, horrific killing. There is no other definition for “abortion.” (Distribution Source : ArriveNet Editorials) Date : Sunday - November 18, 2007

J. Grant Swank, Jr. (ArriveNet Editorials - Nov 18, 2007) -- The United States cannot afford to have any person in the Oval Office who is the least bit in favor of murder.

Abortion is murder—bald, blunt, horrific killing. There is no other definition for “abortion.”

Therefore, those who endorse abortion in any form are abhorrent. America cannot tolerate leadership in any party who would slay the defenseless unborn.

Mike Huckabee has come out as 100% pro-life. Hear him out per AP:

"’It's the logic of the Civil War,’ Huckabee said Sunday, comparing abortion rights to slavery. ‘If morality is the point here, and if it's right or wrong, not just a political question, then you can't have 50 different versions of what's right and what's wrong.’

"’For those of us for whom this is a moral question, you can't simply have 50 different versions of what's right,’ he said in a broadcast interview.

“The former Arkansas governor, who has drawn within striking distance of Mitt Romney in Iowa's leadoff presidential caucuses, said he was taken aback by the National Right to Life Committee's recent endorsement of Fred Thompson, the ex-Tennessee senator.

"’But my surprise was nothing compared to the surprise of people across America who had been faithful supporters of right to life,’ said Huckabee, who is challenging Thompson's claim that he is the most reliable candidate in the GOP field.

"’Fred's never had a 100 percent record on right to life in his Senate career. The records reflect that. And he doesn't support the human life amendment which is most amazing because that's been a part of the Republican platform since 1980,’ Huckabee said.”

Thompson never supported the human life amendment? Just plain terrible. Thank you, Mike, for informing us of that. It is strategic.

When it comes to killing womb children, there is no need for lengthy treatises. One is either for killing them or not. Huckabee is against killing them—on any level, at any time, and so forth."

We'll see about that, Mike.

Huckabee and Rudy are pretty much RINOs on the border/immigration/sanctuary issues.

Unintentional slip of the tongue?

Asked on "This Week" about his Arkansas record, the former Baptist minister said, "You don't punish a child because a parent committed a crime, or committed a sin, you just don't do it."

I've never said that an illegal immigrant is a sinner and that I am not. On the contrary, I believe ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

But it disturbs me to see "sin" used to describe crime. It seems to me Huckabee is saying that those of us who oppose illegal immigration are holier-than-thou types lacking compassion and caring on the poor "sinners" coming across the border.

I think this is Huckabee's REAL position - that he believes I'm a hate-filled racist who views illegal immigrants as dirty 'sinners' - not someone who has lived overseas much of his life, who is well aware of the poverty in other countries, and who doesn't want to drive down American wages and standard of living by importing that poverty here with open borders.

I would bet Huckabee is one of those who thinks illegal immigrants are like the Baby Jesus...and I'm certain he believes HIS compassion should drive spending with MY money.

That is why I call him the O'Connor of politics - he'll follow his feelings rather than the law, and his position on any future policy will be based on feeling good about himself rather than mean things like the Constitution.

For anyone who ever wondered about the adage that politics is Hollywood for the unattractive, just look at Huckabee. In fact, the only person I can think of ever in politics who is worse looking than Huckabee is former Washington State governor Mike Lowry.

"Thompson supporters have been saying that the MSM is behind Huckabee getting elected."

Correction...

Thompson supporters have been saying that the MSM is behind Huckabee getting elected up in the polls.

The media is manipulating the polls via their coverage, and the light in which they present their articles, of a particular candidate.

They disdain FRed. They are hell bent on "teaching hin a lesson", cause he won't bow down and kiss their slimy butts.

Have no doubt about it, the media want julieani. You can take that to the bank.

It's telling that Mitt had no chance of getting reelected in Massachusetts.

Too "stingy" and too conservative.

Romney has never been a conservative. Do we really have to start with all of the proof again?

I think I’ve posted this a hundred times before, and here’s another:

A mandate for medical insurance is NOT, I repeat NOT, socilaized medicine. It is not HillaryCare or EdwardsCare style mandated single payer coverage.

This country has two choices - either repeal the law forcing hospitals and ERs to provide service to all regardless of ability to pay, or mandate insurance. Plain and simple.

Since you don’t like mandated insurance, either you want taxpayers to continue ponying up to pay for those who don’t/can’t pay and get medical care regardless, which is socilaized medicine, or you want to repeal the mandated care law. Which is it ?

Or are you one of those people who can’t think thru the problem and can’t bother to figure out there is one ?

What is anyone saying about Huckabee that isn’t the truth ?

In his own words from his time as governor he’s supported in-state tuition for illegal aliens, higher taxes, anti-smoking laws, expansion of SCHIP and so on.

Why is anyone pointing that out a problem for you ?
