Maybe wolf warning signs for illegals every so many feet would be cheaper than a fence? Not many invaders would like to face such a sign. Walking across the border wondering if you will be attacked by a wolf may slow the numbers of invaders.

Your premise makes sense except for the fact that for very good reasons, our forefathers chose to rid the wilderness of things that were dangerous. It is we that now take up the mantle and we would be shirking our duty if we didn’t continue the fight against the very creatures who love wilderness as their religion. So why give the job that we ought to be doing to wolves that ought to be nowhere in the country without serious controls on population, roaming ability, etc etc.

Frankly, I’m not quite sure how violent and crazy one ought to get, concerning people who for whatever reasons, want to undo what our forefathers thought was good. To include the Constitution of the United States of America, wolves, bears, lions, boars, etc etc. This I do know, our forefathers weren’t stupid and left us a living legacy of freedom and liberty, not to have to learn again what they already knew. Damn the Sierra club, full speed ahead.

Relocate the wolves to Taos or Boulder.

Humans aren’t succeeding in New Mexico?

Is is because of Bill Richardson or the toxic radiated people of Albuquerque

I use to hunt elk with a bow in the Gila Wilderness in NM, never saw any wolves but there were plenty of coyotes (didn't see them as much as we heard them) We would see mountain lion on rare occassions and there were many black bear and turkeys.

I use to fly into Silver City, what an airport. As I recall it was about 20 miles from town and you better have arrangements made to be picked up.

The hunting experience was well worth the time and money, 26 miles back in the Wilderness with no modern equipment or conveniences. Haven't been there for about 18 years now so the wolves may have moved in the wilderness .

Except for a couple of strays, there were no cattle in the Wilderness. The cattle were removed from the Wilderness as the government stopped cattle grazing there.

It does not seem like hunters shooting cows, rather some alf or elf types.

Some are in prison now, but several were never caught.

Could be their friends ?

I'm still rootin for Catron County's efforts to shield themselves from all this GovernMental EnvironMentalism with the fundamental concept of local governmental and even individual family HOME RULE!!!

I love animals too and want them all to succeed, but this GovernMental interference into every human's and every animals life has simply got to come to an abrupt END!!!

Governments are the absolute WORST proprietors of nature or any other worthwhile endeavor and that's been proven throughout eternity!!!
