“Bhutto: Fatal bomb was rigged to baby”
By Betsy Pisik
December 14, 2007

MARDAN, Pakistan —

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Mrs. Bhutto would have been killed, she said, if she hadn’t stepped back to loosen the shoes on her swollen feet.

“The baby, the bomb, it went off only feet from me; there was nothing between us but the wall of the truck,” she said.

“We were rocking from side to side, this huge truck. We saw the bodies, the blood everywhere; we saw the carnage. Some bodies were naked, with their clothes burned off,” she said, shutting her kohl-rimmed eyes against the vision.”

“USF Student’s Arrest Linked To Explosives Case”
By ELAINE SILVESTRINI, The Tampa Tribune

Published: December 14, 2007

TAMPA -

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Federal authorities have charged the international student with “possession or receiving of a firearm by a person admitted to the United States under a non-immigrant visa.” The charge carries a maximum of 10 years in federal prison.

“We’ve known since the summer they were interested in this person,” said USF spokesman Ken Gullette, referring to Moussaoui.

Moussaoui is from Morocco and has been living in a campus residence hall and studying computer engineering, Gullette said. He was scheduled to receive his undergraduate degree Saturday.

His parents arrived Wednesday from Morocco to attend his graduation.

They signed a $50,000 signature bond for his release. Moussaoui surrendered his passport and travel documents, and was released late Thursday afternoon, according to his attorney.”
