Keith Olbermann: new Puritan? Perhaps.
Unless memory fails it's hard to recall Keith condemning Bill Clinton for his flings on grounds of morality. But when it comes to a Republican presidential candidate, has Keith suddenly gone Cotton Mather on us?
Newsweek's Jonathan Alter was Olbermann's guest on this evening's Countdown to discuss the issue of Giuliani's accounting for the expenses of his security detail accompanying him on trips to Long Island, assertedly for purposes of visiting his then girlfriend and wife-to-be Judith Nathan.

Suddenly-conservative Keith ping to Today show list.
The biggest morality issue KO has is that toupe he wears.
Does anyone really watch this clown?
Rudy Giuliani = Bill Clinton. Both are corrupt sleazebags.
Who’s Keith Olbermann?
Giuliani is a disgrace and is making a joke out of Republican values. Nominate this sleazebag and sleaze becomes the norm.
Come to think of it Olbermann is just a whore talking
I hate to admit it, but sometimes I do. We have limited channels, so what they show I watch sometimes. Half the time I have to just shut off the TV he gets so bad though. His ongoing Bill O’Reilly feud is idiotic.
Not a fan of Keith, but if he and others turn up the heat on Rudy and it helps get rid of Mayor Liberal, than so be it.
Why Rudy is ahead in the polls is beyond me. Never seems to do well in the Freeper polls.
I’ve gotten stuck watching him at times visiting older relatives. As far as I am concerned Keith wins his own worst person in the world award each night. I keep telling my elderly family at least go to Fox for news.
He’s a sportscaster who started taking himself way too seriously.
There’s a Shell gas station about a half mile from me and they have Fox on all the time. The franchise owner is an Indian immigrant (legal).
It does not matter what he says nobody watches MSNBC anyway.
Olbermann was great on SportsCenter though. Him and Dan Patrick were always on back in my university days.
“Giuliani is a disgrace.”
Not a disgrace, but not what we need.
The only experienced candidate for a war time president is McCain. Let’s keep him in line with immigration and no amnesty, tell him to get rid of the campaign finance reform bill.
I mean, my gosh,...Mit Romney? Former gov. of Mass? Former Missionary? Great guy morally, probably top of the line from the field, but no president and a political expedient flip flopper.
Huckabee....don’t know a lot but learning more daily as I read the posts here.
Ron Paul, regardless of what he thinks of entangling foreign affairs, the U.S. has to be engaged overseas. its HOW we are engaged overseas. Doesn’t mean we need to set up camp in countries that couldn’t care less if we succeed or not.
I have nothing but gratitude to Keith for anything that he does uncovering Rudy’s immorality. If we nominate Rudy we will be turning our back on all of our moral values and lose our moral authority to criticise Bill Clinton. So, I am glad that Olbermann is bringing this out now. Now if we could only get the supposedly conservative media personalities to be as thorough in their critique of Rudy.
Didn’t he once call Ken Starr Heinrich Himler for investigating Clinton’s perjury?
BTW: Does anybody still watch that hypocrite?
Kieth is a little late to the party!
I have had concerns about Rudy’s infidelity and immorality for some time now!
