You will be missed Knieval.
You may have a few rough times, but one thing was for sure, You always gave a good show and we all knew it was for real.
You won’t be forgotten.

I met him at a bar in Clearwater years ago...at the time, I believe he was hustling golf at a local club.

There was more “patriot and nerve” in Evel’s spit than in all the “honorable men and women” holding office in Congress.
I had to clean that up for the forum...

And that is the truth. I don’t know how old you are, but back in the 70’s when I was a yute, Evel was a real icon on the working class side of the tracks in the town where I grew up. The whole neighborhood would come to a stop on Saturday afternoons when he was featured on ABC’s Wide World of Sports.

I saw him jump in Seattle at the Kingdome— a highlight of my childhood. Had the toys, and I never missed the opening of Wide World of Sports JUST so I could see the shot of him jumping in the intro.
God D@M$, he was one cool mutha.
Love ya, Evel!!!

To: MrLee
Robbie (”Kaptain Knievel”), who last I heard was talking about attempting Snake River Canyon. He’s done OK.

My favorite machine was “8 ball”... I’d play for hours on 1 quarter then walk away with a couple dozen credits left...
