COASTING INTO FLA. MAY COST GIULIANI (seen as gun-grabbing, abortion-supporting philanderer)
NY POST ^ | November 30, 2007 | Charles Hurt, Inside Washington

Posted on 11/30/2007 7:00:51 AM PST by Liz

CLEARWATER, Fla. Sliding in the polls, Giuliani is no longer sure he can win the nomination--taking Florida after losing early states that traditionally determine the nominees. Giuliani's problem is not so much tactical as it is substantive. During Wednesday's debate, Republicans saw the Rudy they've been doing their best to pretend did not exist. He wasn't the crime-fighting, terrorist-bashing, smiling hero they've come to like so much....he's the gun-grabbing, abortion-supporting philanderer that Republicans don't waste much time with - especially in Florida where conservatives turned the Terri Schiavo case into a national cause.

Rooty's campaign is engaged in a VERY dirty game played by remorseless people.

Now, everyone knows Rudy is headed for primary flops all over the nation. The nitwit foolishly brought this on himself----running no TV ads in early primary/caucus states. Giuliani waited so long to show his true colors that Mitt Romney has an insurmountable lead. The sly, calculating Turdiani is laying low----keeping quiet that he purposefully avoided early primary states (conservative strongholds) b/c he and his neo-nutcakes planned to kick conservatives to the curb.....to religiously cleanse the Repub party. Not surprisingly, conservatives were onto Rooty and his freakazoids----the nutjobs were forced to back off. Now nitwit Rooty knows he really, REALLY needs conservatives.

That's too, too bad.

" P-l-e-a-s-e make me sound conservative."

"My stupid advisors told me I didn't need those redneck gun nuts and
those dumb pro-life Christian conservatives to make a primary showing."

" They're killing me on FR just b/c I dumped my wife for my mistress, don't talk
to my kids, was honored by NARAL, donated to Planned Parenthood, marched
for gay rights under the NAMBLA banner, appointed gays and pedophiles
to top city jobs, and provided a sanctuary for illegals."

“A gun-grabbing, abortion-supporting philanderer”

And those are his good points.

Instead, he was the gun-grabbing, abortion-supporting philanderer that Republicans don't waste much time with - especially here in Florida where conservatives turned the Terri Schiavo case into a national cause.

And philandering on the TAXPAYERS dime. And likely ILLEGALLY, due to the shady bookkeeping.

Then again, Rooty never was one to follow the law. He thinks he 'entitled' - we shall see about that.

I wonder how he handled the Jooty porking on his tax returns?

Rootie should do republicans a favor and just drop out, but his ego won’t let him.

He should join McLame and retire to the funny farm.

Giuliani waited so long to show his true colors that Mitt Romney has an insurmountable lead.

You can't be that delusional.

Giuliani polls first nationwide by a signficant margin, or at least outside the margin of error.

Huckabee looks to be surging in Iowa and Romney's huge lead there is certainly in jeopardy.

In which February 5 primary states is Romney dominating?

Romney doesn't have an insurmountable lead. He's actually in severe trouble.

Any Republican candidate who believes he can win the nomination (even in a very weak field) by ignoring or taking positions opposed to social conservatives and 2nd Amendment supporters is WAY to stupid to be elected President.

My fondest wish is for Rudy to do as well as Specter did when he ran for the nomination.

It will be an interesting race in Florida. Will the church folk be bamboozled into Guilianni votes? Will the New York and northern immigrants overwhelm the southern roots of Florida? How will the Cuban’s vote?

*** I wonder how he handled the Jooty porking on his tax returns? ***

Maybe as a Medical Expense .. or given the 'porking' aspect -- a Farm Subsidy?

Thanks for the post, Liz.

Conservatives should thank rudy for flushing out all the weasels who were hiding in the GOP.

I've come across plenty of Rudy apologists here who disregard all of that. I guess a national tragedy can be used to try and sweep all of your personal faults under the rug.

ROTFL-------porking Jooty listed as a medical expense, or farm subsidy.

Contemplating Jooty's looks, maybe Giuliani listed her as a four-legged deduction, alongside his pet cocker spaniel.

Rooty has one and only one legit purpose in the party-—to separate true-blue Repubs from faux Repubs.

Repubs backing Rooty are squatters bent on religious cleansing and kicking conservatives to the curb.

Huckabee’s open borders stance is a campaign killer.

Hillary’s support for licensing illegals sank her; she struggles to regain her footing in primary/caucus states she should have won easily.

The debates and the polls clearly show immig is at the forefront of political thought..........across the political spectrum.
