Want to find out who's giving money to whom? Your senators? Your congressman? Your neighbors? All you need is a zip code.................
TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: contributors; donors; money; political
It can be really "enlightening" to find out who in your own community gave what to whom..............

That’s a way cool feature. This is hugh! I’m series.
Unfortunately it’s not working right now (HTTP 500 error)!
Oh well, bookmark for later.

Thanks, but when I type a zip code into the “Get Local!” box and hit Go, I still get a HTTP 500.
(and, yes, I’m logged in. :P)

I get that error on every other screen, now on that site. It must be overloaded! We must have shut it down or the blogosphere is busy vetting all those debate contributors.............

Yeah, how’d you guess?
I bet the problem is all those @#$%^&* Dim donors “down here” are making the query run long.
In other news, it’s gonna be another scorcher today.

That doesn’t seem to matter. I entered my zip (in Texas) and it pulled up the right info, even though the state was set to Oklahoma. Zip code must override state.
At any rate, the server seems to be un-overloaded now... thanx for the heads up.
