Reminds me of the joke:
You know why the new Iranian navy has glass bottomed boats...
So they can see the old Iranian navy.

Sonar is an active technology using induced sound to reflect off objects in the water. Unless they have some technology allowing them to be non-reflective to sound (not as easy as Radar) then their sub must either not be in the water or hiding against a larger reflective surface (like the bottom).
Being "silent" against listening technology is another subject entirely.

Probably on the same level as their new jet fighter announced this fall.

Mohammed! Have the crew don their headphones of stealth!

My 2c....
I'd imagine that every country with a sub force would describe it as "Sonar Evading". What would the point be, otherwise?
I'd be concerned about this threat. Iran would only need to get lucky, once, and I'd imagine that a shallow, muddied environment like the Persian Gulf is a pretty good place for diesel subs.
Please note that I'm not a submariner, but I did read "Hunt for Red October" while staying at the Holiday Inn last night.

I’m betting our sub forces have already recorded it, tracked it, run a dozen weapons / torpedo drills for it and are keeping a close eye on the future sunken wreck.

As I said, there is no such thing as a ‘sonar evading’ sub. There’s only levels of quiet. And we are the proud owners of a pre-eminent silent service.

They probably got it from the same place I got my squadron of invisible, undetectable jets.

They’ll be found when the Captain pulls a “Crazy Mohamed”. Five times a day he’ll turn towards Mecca.
One away.

In the event of conflict, this boat will disappear never to be seen or heard from again.

How do i doubt this?
Let me count the ways!!
Radar, in many respects, is much easier to evade. SONAR, by virtue of the nature od the technology and the medium in which it operates, is extremely difficult to avoid, if not virtually impossible.
IMO, Ahmanutjob has been hittin’ the happy juice again!
