Do we use lead-based paint on our cars?

Also, not to defend the Red Chinese Commie scumbags, but lead base paint was pretty common years ago and there were no problems.

Guess nobody back then let their kids gnaw the woodwork.

I agree. That lead-based paint scare that they put out is really un-necessary. Don’t eat the paint chips.............

Not anymore I don’t think. It was used on all cars before the 1980s I believe. Some third-party bodyshop paints might still be lead-based though.

I know the paint used by our military is still lead-based. Lead-based paint dries faster and is more durable.
