At the Impeachment Dinner, I remember just looking at him and thinking —”What a great and brave man”. God bless and rest his soul.Indeed. Yet I watched with dismay as he went from being everybody's hero for leading the charge on impeachment to being called every name in the book for co-sponsoring an assest forfeiture reform bill with Henry Waxman in the span of just a few weeks.
