Big blip on Drudge.
*****UPDATE******
It turns out that Keith Kerr, retired Colonel., U.S. Army; retired Brigadier General, California National Reserve, who submitted a YouTube question about gays in the military, is actually a member of Hillary Clinton's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual Americans For Hillary Steering Committee. He's also part of a film production crew trying overturn the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.
UPDATE: In the final seconds of the post-debate coverage, Anderson Cooper acknowledges that CNN messed this up and states that CNN did not know that Kerr has a position within the Clinton campaign and that had they known, they would have disclosed the association.
Of course they did, it’s CNN and Anderson....
There aren’t going to be anymore Democrat debates. Remember, they canceled their last debate. I think that they knew that the furor over the two sham debates would not allow for another Democrat debate.
I am not at all sure that this political Jerry Springer show was the idea of the Hillary planners. I think that this one came from the Edwards campaign and I think that the refusal to appear on FOX was part of the deal.
I didn’t see any Che shirt wearing, beret on the head types in the Democratic debates asking Marxist questions.
Which means they STILL would have run the question. Hasn't anyone in the RNC learned yet? You cannot trust the Clinton News Network.
“If so, that would certainly be an issue that should be addressed immediately...”
The easy way of CNN stating that they aren’t really going to do anything, but discuss the fact that they said they are going to address it.
From the Michele Malkin Website: Digging out more CNN/YouTube plants: Abortion questioner is declared Edwards supporter (and a slobbering Anderson Cooper fan); Log Cabin Republican questioner is declared Obama supporter; lead toy questioner is a prominent union activist for the Edwards-endorsing United Steelworkers
Where can I find out more on this?
Re: McCain & immigration. It’s obvious we have a serious problem. The number one aspect of the problem is securing the borders - McCain definitely knows that (he got the message loud & clear after the reform plan in which he was involved went down in flames!). But an even more complex problem is the existence of the millions of illegals already in this country. We def need to develop a plan to address that. What to do? What are the options? Can we go on a rampage & round ‘em all up and ship them home? Is that what we need to do? Some people may advocate that - and on the surface it seems like the only way to get the illegals back in their proper place in line. Do you really think we can just go round up nearly 0 million people? How much would that cost? What resources do we have to accomplish that? Maybe McCain’s amnesty plan isn’t what we all want to hear (me either!!), but what else are we going to do - we either have to deport them or let become legal - or do you have another plan?? If so, let’s hear it!
McCain’s willingness to address this problem - especially in an election year - just shows that he is willing to tackle the big problems of this country (disregarding his own agenda for the good of the country!) and not stick his head in the sand about it. Again, that is selflessness & pragmatism. It’s refreshing!
Republicans in the audience demonstrated their total lack of patriotism and general lack of class by roundly booing the General.
Why is Duncan Hunter running, with Mike Huckabee, John McCain, and Ron Paul lapping up any scrap votes left behind by the front-runners?
Oh, goody, it’s our token, dyed-in-the-wool socialist FReeper!
How ‘ya doin’ MurryMom? Long time no see.
Here is Michele's Article:
They are here for jobs and welfare and benefits. We need to make sure that businesses hire only legals. Only CITIZENS get government benefits, beyond emergency care. No anchor babies. That will cut the problem down to mostly a few terrorists, gangsters, and tourists over staying their welcome.
Plus, If I recall correctly McCain did not cosponsor the Bush Tax Cuts. Correct me if I’m wrong.
“pragmatism”
One person’s pragmatist is another person’s flip-flopper.
He was given air time to lay the predicate that conservatives are bigots and that homsexuals sympathy and self loathing peoples who find that lifestyle offensive see the bigotry. The entire “debate” was a CNN setup with questions to make bible-believers look bad, prolifers look bad, promilitary folks look bad, pro-second amendment rights advocates look bad. They did not even try to shade any of their questions. CNN was despicable.
I mean this as no silliness nor insults to any person. But why do people ‘proclaim’ their homsexuality? Is it to make the broad statement, “I felate other men”? I am happily married and do not make a point to point to my heterosexuality. Why would a man, homosexual, make that proclaimation. When I see someone like the general say that, my mind conjours up the image of another man humped over him. Why does he want that to be the impression he gives to everyone? It is advertising?
Don’t you think that 66 year old queen set up his video and taped, then put it on You-Tube for a submission. I don’t think so. CNN or someone in Hillary’z campaign did all of his leg work and applied technology. Then they got the old man to shame himself on international television.
If someone in the republican camp did thing it would be a “dirty Trick” or the order of NIxon
It was a total setup to show how all the Republican candidates are ‘homophobic’—shame on Hillary! AND CNN!
