No, I didn’t skip anything. I stated clearly that what they did in the Old Testament was proper. I believe it literally and fully. What I was trying to get across to you is that it was a different period and different rules applied. Israel in the OT was an earthly kingdom and earthly rules applied. In the New Testament, Jesus has established a heavenly kingdom. Different ball game.

You think the Jews thought that God lived on earth? That they didn’t pray to a monotheistic God in Heaven? Where was God located in the OT?
