The stars and bars is the American flag, is it not? Not the confederate flag? Or am I wrong?

American flag is the “Stars and Stripes.” Confederate is the “Stars and Bars.”

Yes, the Stars and Bars is an American flag...the first flag of the Confederate States of America. There are variations with different numbers of stars. Here's one:

This is NOT the flag of the Confederacy.

It's a battle flag.
