There's a reason I call them the Black KKK. The pain, the fear and the destruction are all the same.
Someone who loved Sean Taylor is crying right now. The life they knew has been destroyed, an 18-month-old baby lost her father, and, if you're a black man living in America, you've been reminded once again that your life is in constant jeopardy of violent death. The Black KKK claimed another victim, a high-profile professional football player with a checkered past this time.
No, we don't know for certain the circumstances surrounding Taylor's death. I could very well be proven wrong for engaging in this sort of aggressive speculation. But it's no different than if you saw a fat man fall to the ground clutching his chest. You'd assume a heart attack, and you'd know, no matter the cause, the man needed to lose weight.
Well, when shots are fired and a black man hits the pavement, there's every statistical reason to believe another black man pulled the trigger. That's not some negative, unfair stereotype. It's a reality we've been living with, tolerating and rationalizing for far too long.
When the traditional, white KKK lynched, terrorized and intimidated black folks at a slower rate than its modern-day dark-skinned replacement, at least we had the good sense to be outraged and in no mood to contemplate rationalizations or be fooled by distractions.

The MSM will ignore it because it doesn’t fit the template of white male privilege
BOR alert...good point.
Wow! I am officially now a fan of Jason Whitlock.
Mr. Whitlock nailed it.
He’s not only 100% right, he’s a helluva writer, too.
According to his girlfriend, the alarm was turned off to accommodate a house guest who was visiting. The same girlfriend, by the way, who was hiding under the covers and therefore unable to identify the attacker(s).
Just wait for it. A firestorm's a comin'. Bet on it.
You would be horrified at how many people don't bother to even lock their doors.
They make up 120% of the prison population?
brave words, important words, words that beg to be heeded ... words that will go unnoticed or worse, ridiculed and ignored.
Turn off the alarm? Okay here it goes, stupid is as stupid does.
Never heard of a peephole?
There’s nothing odd or suspicious about that at all. I bet if you ask around, you’ll find that that is pretty much the norm.
The Black KKK is enforcing the same crippling standards as its parent organization. It wants to keep black men in their place uneducated, outside the mainstream and six feet deep.
Wow. Writing something like that takes steel cojones. Talk about an inconvenient truth.
I retract my previous prognostication concerning any negative response to Mr. Whitlock's column.
My newest prediction is that there will be none, whatsoever.
I neglected to notice Mr. Whitlock's race when I posted my initial retort.
Taylors father is the Chief of Police in a neighboring city. The guy would have known how to use a security system and probably would have been armed as well.
But Whitlocks article just deserves a single word....Kudos.
I’m partially a fan only because I can’t fully get over the fact that he believes that Hurricane Carter is innocent.
retraction noted.
Being white and writing this would.
“According to his girlfriend, the alarm was turned off to accommodate a house guest who was visiting. The same girlfriend, by the way, who was hiding under the covers and therefore unable to identify the attacker(s).”
Sounds like she had been told by Taylor that they were coming.
She likely hid so she wouldn’t end up like Taylor.
My guess is she knows more than she is willing to tell.
Seems a likelihood that Taylor may have had some big gambling debt, and they were there to ‘collect’.
