It seems like we had double-digit interest rates for quite awhile, IIRC. I was not paying a mortgage then, but payments must have been awful.

Willie Green is back on FR. I bought my first house at 8.9% and my friends were green with envy. America has turned into a 50% wussie country... falling all over itself because it will not look where it is putting it’s feet... too busy looking up waiting for the sky to fall.
