I’ve always thought Colin Powell a good and decent man. That he left the Bush Administration (was “invited” to leave, actually) because he disagreed with Bush on the handling of the Iraq war was unfortunate, but the man stood his ground. He might see it necessary to get back into the political arena if it means for the good of his country.

I would have had far more respect for him if he had resigned before that address to the U.N.

In retrospect, he looked more like an opportunistic fraud than a principled man.

I think it was Powell who told Bush re: Iraq...”you break it, you own it”.

Colin Powell let a man be destroyed when he KNEW the truth....Scooter Libby was NOT the leak, the lefty Armitage, Colin’s Deputy, was and he let Scooter spend MILLIONS. Powell is a PATHETIC man who was NEVER pro-Bush.
