Big deal. When Bill Clinton was president, he tapped everything in a skirt.

Oh, this is good. This is smart. She is clever. Not that I believe she’d act on her word though, but the thought is clever indeed.

"Clinton Says She'd Tap Colin Powell for Foreign Policy Expertise If Elected" Does Powell's wife know that she's planning to tap him?

Powell’s career peaked with his speech at the UN outlining Iraq’s WMDs. All downhill from there.
Who is Hillary Matters going to tap for the President?

Didn't Colin Powell let it be known, during the Florida recount, when everyone expected GWB to pick him as Secretary of State, that he'd be open to serving in a Gore administration if Gore won Florida? And then of course he kept quiet during the Valerie Plame uproar, all the while knowing that Richard Armitage was the leaker, even though he was still the Secretary of State and the controversy was damaging to President Bush.
I wonder if Hillary has considered Powell for running mate. Of course that could be dangerous since it might increase the chances of an assassination attempt.

Well, pandering to the Black audience ought to make the Reverend Jackson quite satisfied.
Obama should say he'd make Beyonce (in that gold ring dress she wears for the Direct TV ads) the foreign policy expert. Hubba hubba.

But Tuesday she specifically told a group of black ministers who were endorsing her in Spartanburg, S.C., that to restore the country's reputation, she would tap the man who under President Bush led the foreign policy argument to invade Iraq in pursuit of weapons of mass destruction.Odd that her first mention of this would be to a group of black ministers...what a phoney/fraudulent piece of work that HC is....it's so obvious she takes them (and all of us) for fools. She's more than willing to drop any particular name when it suits her purpose. Shame on anyone who falls for it. Calling on Colin Powell is NOT the same as having already discussed it with him with the understanding that he'd be willing to follow through with it. (...such a wicked, evil woman...)

I won't even wait until I'm inaugurated, but as soon as I'm elected I'm going to be asking distinguished Americans of both parties people like Colin Powell, for example and others who can represent our country well, including someone I know very well, " she said smiling while making reference to her husband and former President Bill Clinton. "Because I want to send a message heard across the world. The era of cowboy diplomacy is over." The over-reaching hubris of this woman is absolutely stunning. Have you ever noticed that every sentence out of her mouth has 3 or 4 "I's" in it? That's all I can say right now without popping a blood vessel in my head...

Just more Clintonspeak. It all depends on what the meaning of the word “like” is. Like what? A man? A Black? etc.
But I also must comment on the whole “restore America’s image” thing. There was a thread the other day that was saying it: the world doesn’t hate us; it’s the world’s lefties that hate us...
